Dr. John Douds, our Chief of Staff, is a 1979 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been treating both large and small animals in the Lorain – Huron County area since 1982. With the help of his wife, Sandy, he opened Douds Veterinary Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio in 1994. The hospital now treats dogs and cats exclusively. Dr. Douds practices part-time and has a special interest in surgery.
He resides in Wakeman Township with his wife, Sandy, cat, Cilia, and dog, Tibia. Outside activities include church, running, and building maintenance.
