Opening for a DVM

Douds Veterinary Hospital in Oberlin, OH is seeking a veterinarian to join our amazing team. We are a full-service, multi-doctor small animal hospital with a reputation for combining high-quality care with exceptional client service. Our facility is well equipped with both digital dental and general radiography, ultrasound, tonopen, video otoscope, and in-house laboratory equipment. The experienced team is dedicated to our patients, clients, and community. We take pride in our community connections which include our partnership with the C.A.T.S.S. Organization.

New grads are encouraged to apply. This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate to be successful under the mentorship and guidance of our collaborative team of doctors with a wide range of experience and areas of interest. Our team consists of 7 RVTS, including our Hospital Manager, multiple Veterinary Assistants, and a very knowledgeable, experienced Customer Service Team. You will also have access to join the VetCor DVM Slack page with other VetCor DVMs across the country to talk to and discuss cases, treatments, etc.

Oberlin, OH is a great place to live and work. It is a small college town, located centrally between Cleveland and Sandusky, home to Cedar Point Amusement Park. The area offers something special for everyone including all the amenities of big city life without any of the hassles!   We offer a 4 day work week with no on-call emergency hours required and no late evening appointments.  We are very lucky to have several ERs  and Specialty hospitals local to us for after-hours and specialized care for our patients. We have a dedicated “Queen of Fun” that helps organize fun activities for our team throughout the year! You can bring your 4 legged friends to work with you daily for fun playtime with other team members pets!
