Jessica Contenza, DVM

Dr. Jessica Contenza earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. She enjoyed getting out of Ohio and experiencing a different part of the country, but she has since returned to her roots. Originally from Lexington, Ohio, she now calls Strongsville her home. Dr. Contenza makes it her daily mission to educate clients about important preventative care for their animal companions while pursuing her interests in dermatology, dentistry, behavior, and surgery.

Listening to owners' concerns and working as a team to create a unique treatment plan for your four-legged friend is an important part of Dr. Contenza’s practice. She believes that open communication and mutual understanding for our pets' care is essential in keeping them healthy. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Contenza can be found on the go with her husband and two standard poodles. Depending on the season, you may find them hiking, playing with the dogs at the beach, playing pickleball or snow skiing with her many relatives. Visiting the tropical rainforest in Costa Rica has been one of her travel highlights thus far. She and her husband have many places on their travel bucket list, which include exploring Ireland, Italy, and Greece to name a few.
